The Hawaii State Legislature passed HB 604 signed into law as Act 007 by Governor Ige proclaiming December 20th of each year as Sakada Day. On May 22, 2015, A Sakada Story screened at the Hawaii State Capitol as part of the Sakada Bill signing ceremonial reception. Read the story here.
